【繊維産業の街、桐生で製作（日本の手仕事）】
1200年の繊維産業の歴史を紡ぎ、今尚、繊維産業の重要な日本の拠点となる『群馬県桐生市』
熟練した職人の技術が残っている地域でもあります。
関ヶ原の徳川軍の旗、スカジャンの製作、力士の化粧廻しの刺繍、世界のナショナルブランドの縫製、染色、など歴史や伝統、先端ファッションの仕事を担っている地域です。
そして弊社は長年の繊維産業へ従事してきた技術をファクトリーブランドのアイテムにフィードバックさせ製作販売しています。縫製や染色加工など全て繊維の街桐生での手仕事を使い製造し、生地は日本製の生地と欧米のクォリティの高い生地を使用しております。
【影響】
柳 宗悦さんの『用の美』『民藝運動』、1919年ドイツのヴァイマルに作られた『バウハウス』などの
余計な装飾を排除した、シンプルで機能的な美しさ「用」「技術」「材料」「量産」の要素を意識して製作しています。
【名前の由来 】
Sawtooth Roof（ソウトゥースルーフ）とはノコギリ屋根の英語表記です。
イギリスで動力織機が設置された1820年代後半から30年代にかけて出現し、日本では1883年（明治16年）イギリス帰りの技術者の指導で大阪に建てられたのが始まりといわれており、日本の近代成長の礎になった建物兼もの作りの生産拠点でした。そして繊維産地の群馬県桐生市のアイコンともなっている建物をロゴのモチーフとしています。

群馬県桐生市にある有限会社横倉繊維のファクトリーブランドのネットショップになります。
横倉繊維は、1940年に繊維の街、群馬県桐生市にて横倉織物としてスタートしました。
現在は繊維染色加工として服地や服飾製品に染色を行う会社として運営しています。

And we feed back the technology that has been engaged in the textile industry for many years to factory brand items and manufacture and sell it. All of the sewing and dyeing processes are manufactured using handicrafts in Kiryu, the city of textiles, and the fabrics are made in Japan and high quality in Europe and the United States.

[Origin of the name]
Sawtooth Roof is the English notation for saw-tooth roofs.
It appeared in the late 1820s and 30s when power looms were installed in England, and it is said that it was built in Osaka in 1883 (Meiji 16) under the guidance of engineers returning to England. It was a production base for building and manufacturing that became the cornerstone of modern growth. The logo motif is the building that is also the icon of Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture, where textiles are produced.
